Inside mount or outside mount?
Two ways to hang a shade. Here's exactly what to measure for each. We handle the deductions.
Measure the opening width at the top, middle, and bottom. Give us the narrowest of the three. Don't deduct anything, we trim for clearance.
Measure the opening height at the left, middle, and right. Give us the tallest of the three.
Measure the opening, then add 1½″ to 3″ on each side to block light gaps. Give us that total width.
Measure the opening, then add about 3″ above for the mount, plus as much below the sill as you'd like for coverage.
